Duane Sinning

Duane completed his education in commercial economics and ag business then began his career in the nursery industry as a farm and inventory manager in Iowa. He was then an operations manager in Michigan. He moved to the Colorado greenhouse industry in regional and international sales, plant breeding evaluation, and marketing, including 15 years for Ernst Benary in Germany and Floranova in England. He spent two years at Cargill’s overseeing breeding technicians and designing greenhouse and seed processing facilities for GMO and conventional seed variety development. Finally, Duane joined the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture in June of 2014 as Assistant Director of Plant Industry and the Industrial Hemp Program Manager.
