The Steppe Garden: Creating a Global-themed Garden With a Local Sense of Place
In 2016, Denver Botanic Gardens opened the Steppe Garden, based on the plants and ecology of the four great steppe regions of the world: South Africa, Patagonia, Central Asia, and North America. Learn how plants from similar climates have adapted to look the same, and/or fill the same ecological niche. These selections are wise choices for the home garden.
This session is part of a day-long program presented at the Denver Botanic Garden. Hear 6 perennial experts and tour the World-renowned garden. Rates are $99 before June 1 and $119 after June 1.
